Sniv has crucial information about a secret spell hidden within the tavern's depths. To get Sniv to talk, you must demonstrate your mastery of the arcane arts through a series of magical feats, proving your worth and gaining his trust. If you receive 8 XP during the workout, Sniv divulges the secret spell. Proceed to the next workout.

  • Mage: Focus on bodyweight movements with agility and endurance elements, incorporating household items as props (e.g., broom as a staff).

  • Endurance (Full Body)

Battle Structure

  • Type: 3x 6-minute EMOMs with 2-minute rest between each EMOM
  • Goal: Complete the prescribed reps each minute, transitioning quickly between exercises.

Battle Movements

  1. Spell Cast (Broomstick or Dumbbell Swings, 15 reps)
  2. Magic Shield (Plank Hold, 45 seconds)
  3. Arcane Burst (Burpees, 10 reps)
  4. Mystic Twist (Russian Twists, 20 reps)
  5. Wand Raise (Overhead Press with a broomstick or light dumbbell, 12 reps)

Challenging Weight or Rep Count or Timing

  • Spell Cast: Use a broomstick or a light dumbbell (15-20 lbs)
  • Wand Raise: Use a broomstick or a light dumbbell (15-20 lbs)

D20 Roll

  • 1-5: Sniv knows you're bluffing. Add 5 reps to Arcane Burst.
  • 6-10: Sniv sneers with suspicion. Add 5 reps to Mystic Twist.
  • 11-15: Sniv thinks you're trustworthy. Reduce 2 reps from Wand Raise and receive one XP point.
  • 16-20: Sniv is impressed by your skill. Reduce 2 reps from Spell Cast and 2 reps from Arcane Burst, plus receive two XP points.

End of Battle Cooldown

  • Perform stretches focusing on the core, shoulders, and legs with cobra pose, seated forward bends, and standing quad stretches.


  • Archmage: Complete more than 4 rounds in any EMOM.
  • Spellweaver: Complete the workout without missing any Spell Cast reps.
  • Arcane Master: Use the challenging weight for all movements throughout the workout.

Skill Notes

  • Spell Cast (Broomstick or Dumbbell Swings): Use your hips to power the swing, keeping your arms secondary. Alternative: Use a lighter object if a broomstick is too heavy.
  • Magic Shield (Plank Hold): Maintain a straight line from head to heels. Alternative: Perform on knees to reduce difficulty.
  • Arcane Burst (Burpees): Perform a standard burpee, ensuring a full push-up at the bottom and a jump at the top. Alternative: Step back instead of jumping back to a plank.
  • Mystic Twist (Russian Twists): Sit with your torso at a 45-degree angle, holding the weight with both hands. Twist from side to side, tapping the weight on the floor each time. Alternative: Use no weight and clasp hands together.
  • Wand Raise (Overhead Press): Keep your core tight and press the broomstick or dumbbell from shoulder height to overhead, avoiding arching your back. Alternative: Use a lighter object if needed.
