Pirate's Plunder

Battle Structure

  • Type: Ladder
  • Duration: As fast as possible
  • Goal: Climb the ladder from 1 rep to 10 reps as quickly as possible. Do 1 rep of each movement, then, 2 reps of each, etc. until you hit 10 of each.

Battle Movements

  • Cannonball Toss (DB Squat & Press, 1-10 reps)
  • Deck Swabs (Burpees, 1-10 reps)
  • Rigging Climb (DB Bent Rows, 1-10 reps)

Challenge Weight

  • Cannonball Toss: 15-20 lbs DB in each hand


  • Swashbuckler's Agility: Every time you complete a full round, perform a quick 30-second of Jumping Jack or Crunches.

D20 Roll

  • 1-5: Lose one rep from a previous round (if you're on rep 5, you revert to rep 4).
  • 6-10: Add 1 extra Burpees per round.
  • 11-15: Increase the Cannonball Weight the next round.
  • 16-20: Gain a "swift wind" bonus—add +1 reps already completed to all movements.

End of Battle

  • Cooldown: Stretch focusing on the shoulders and back with arm-across-chest stretches and cat-cow poses for spine flexibility.
